At the end of May, we made our way to Talladega Superspeedway for the 10th anniversary of Battle in Bama—and wow, what a first-time experience. Although we were only able to make it for Saturday, the show completely exceeded our expectations. The event officially kicks off Thursday with the OBS Nationals, running alongside Battle in Bama, and even with just one day on the grounds, it was clear we’ve been missing out.

From slammed custom trucks and high-horsepower hot rods to a sea of our favorite minitrucks spread across the pits of Talladega, the variety and quality were off the charts. We found ourselves power-walking through the event just to try and take it all in—but honestly, we should’ve been there from the start.

One of the coolest highlights this year? Show vehicles were allowed to take a lap around the legendary track. It added a whole new level of excitement to an already unforgettable day. Next year, we’re definitely coming back—and staying longer—so we don’t miss out on even more builds, the swap meet, and the full weekend experience.
